"Tout ce que vous avez à faire, c'est décider de partir. Et le plus dur est fait."
"All you've got to do is decide to go and the hardest part is over."

Last summer we did a very nice road trip around the Dominican Republic. We went diving in different places around the island and we enjoyed all the nature we could find there. One of the most beautiful places we saw is the Bahia de las Aguilas. The beach is amazingly clean and you really have the feeling to be alone on earth when you get there. That is why I would like to share our diving experience with Buceo Pedernales. I contacted them to let them know we were coming to this area around the end of July. We had very nice messages exchanges and we booked one diving day with two dives. We met Valentina and Michele the day before diving. They came to visit us in our hotel in Pedernales. They are very kind people, very professional and responsible divers. We had a great time with them above and under water. Their dive center is located in the Glamping Ecolodge Rancho Tipico Cueva de las Aguilas. It is very friendly, nicely decorated and well equipped. As we traveled with our own diving equipment so we do not have to rent anything, but in case you need, they have very good rental equipment. The best way to get there is with your own vehicle. We drove around 45 minutes from Pedernales to the dive center. It is not very far but there is a gravel road for many kilometers and it takes time to arrive. Parking there is very easy. The reefs are untouched and the conditions are perfect to enjoy the dives. The visibility is really good. The water is warm and the dive sites are suitable to every dive level. You cannot be disappointed and you will come back home with beautiful memories !
